Roy “Hoss” Allen, a resident at Wesley Court, a Lifespace senior living community in Abilene, Texas, who recently celebrated his 100th birthday, was the honoree at Wesley Court’s Veterans Day celebration. Roy served in World War II and also survived being taken as a prisoner of war. In addition to paying special honor to Roy for his service, the attendees celebrated multiple veterans – residents and team members alike – for their service, and local KRBC news anchor, David Bacon, performed Master of Ceremonies duty during the event.
