It’s normal to need a time to relax, which is why our respite care serves families and caregivers who require short-term, alternative care for loved ones due to:

- Illness
- Ailments
- Weather disasters

- Other unexpected circumstances
What to Expect During the Unexpected
During respite stays, short-term residents will live in fully-furnished apartments. All respite care residents will receive required care and enjoy the same access within the community as full-time residents, including:
- Opportunities to participate in social outings and activities
- Three daily meals
- Full use of the facility
- Linen / laundry services
- Convenient access to local transportation for personal errands, appointments and other needs in the Abilene, Texas area.
Respite care acceptance requires that prospective short-term residents and families meet the appropriate standards and criteria for a respite stay. A minimum length of stay is required; acceptance is also based upon availability of space within the community.
