What to Expect During the Unexpected
During respite stays, short-term residents will live in fully-furnished apartments. All Respite Care residents will receive required care and enjoy the same access within the community as full-time residents, including:

- Linen / laundry services
- Convenient access to local transportation for personal errands, appointments and other needs in the Abilene, Texas area.
Respite Care acceptance requires that prospective short-term residents and families meet the appropriate standards and criteria for a respite stay. A minimum length of stay is required; acceptance is also based upon availability of space within the community.
